Attività di ricerca

In qualità di Dottore Magistrale in Scienze Motorie, durante il periodo di ricercatore, ho svolto attività di assistenza e di ricerca presso il C.A.R.EN (Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment).

Mi occupo principalmente di effettuare trattamenti riabilitativi attraverso devices robotizzati e dotati di realtà virtuale, in pazienti affetti da patologie Neuromuscolari al fine di contribuire alla raccolta dati per l’avanzamento dei lavori di ricerca da noi presentati.

Insieme ad team di ricercatori, studiamo la letteratura scientifica che riguarda il movimento e le patologie di nostro interesse, successivamente, proponiamo e scriviamo progetti da poter eseguire ai fini della ricerca scientifica.

Il periodo da ricercatore mi ha permesso di analizzare le caratteristiche specifiche, le potenzialità, i limiti, del C.A.R.EN e di tutti i devices presenti in struttura tra cui il sistema BTS, l’Alter-G ed il VRRS acquisendo competenze teoriche e pratiche circa il loro impiego in ambito della riabilitazione.

In questo periodo ho potuto implementare, la mia conoscenza ed esperienza in materia di ricerca attraverso la stesura di nuovi progetti scientifici. Ciò mi ha premesso di ampliare la conoscenza riguardo la progettazione, la gestione dell’esercizio fisico adattato al paziente in funzione al progetto di ricerca da seguire.

Research Activities

As a Doctor of Motor Science, during my time as a researcher, I have been assisting and researching at C.A.R.EN (Computer Assisted Rehabilitation Environment). I am mainly involved in carrying out rehabilitation treatments through robotic devices equipped with virtual reality, in patients with Neuromuscular diseases in order to contribute to the collection of data for the advancement of the research work we present. Together with teams of researchers, we study the scientific literature pertaining to movement and pathologies of our interest, subsequently, we propose and write projects that can be executed for the purpose of scientific research. The period as a researcher allowed me to analyze the specific characteristics, potentials, limitations, of the C.A.R.EN and all the devices in the facility including the BTS system, the Alter-G and the VRRS acquiring theoretical and practical skills about their use in the field of rehabilitation. During this period I was able to implement, my knowledge and experience in research through the writing of new scientific projects. This enabled me to expand knowledge regarding the design, management of patient-adapted exercise according to the research project to be followed.
