Attività di ricerca

La mia attività di ricerca nell’ambito della Linea di ricerca 3 “ NEUROSCIENZE SPERIMENTALI IN RIABILITAZIONE” è incentrata nell’ambito delle neuroscienze ed è focalizzata ad individuare vie di segnale che partecipano all’insorgenza e progressione di patologie neurodegenerative e ad individuare nuove strategie terapeutiche a fini riabilitativi per queste patologie. In questo campo, mi sono occupata soprattutto di studiare le vie molecolari alla base dell’azione neuroprotettiva di fitocomposti e di studiare le proprietà rigenerative di cellule staminali mesenchimali.

Nel corso della mia attività di ricerca ho acquisito competenze specifiche nell’induzione di modelli in vitro di patologie neurodegenerative, tecniche di biologia molecolare e studi di trascrittomica.

Research Activities

My research activity under Research Line 3 " EXPERIMENTAL NEUROSCIENCES IN REHABILITATION" is centered in the field of neuroscience and is focused on identifying signaling pathways that participate in the onset and progression of neurodegenerative diseases and identifying new therapeutic strategies for rehabilitation purposes for these diseases. In this field, I have been mainly concerned with studying the molecular pathways underlying the neuroprotective action of phytocompounds and investigating the regenerative properties of mesenchymal stem cells.

In the course of my research activity, I have acquired specific skills in inducing in vitro models of neurodegenerative diseases, molecular biology techniques and transcriptomics studies.
